Terms of Service - User Agreement

    1. Acceptance of Terms

    Welcome to Axrisi, an AI-powered browser extension that transforms selected text according to your instructions. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Axrisi ("the Service"), provided by I/E Niko ("we," "us," or "our"). By installing or using Axrisi, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

    2. Registration and Access

    • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service; minors under 18 need parental or guardian consent.
    • If you act on behalf of another person or entity, you warrant that you have the authority to bind them to these Terms.
    • Provide accurate information when creating an account, and keep your credentials confidential. You're responsible for any activity under your account.

    3. Usage Requirements

    • We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use Axrisi in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws.
    • All rights, title, and interest in the Service remain with us and our licensors.
    • Feedback: Any ideas or suggestions you submit may be used by us without compensation.
    • Restrictions: You must not infringe others' rights, misrepresent AI-generated content as human-crafted, redistribute license keys, or breach OpenAI's usage policies.

    4. AI & Acceptable Content

    Axrisi relies on OpenAI models. All text you submit must comply with OpenAI's Acceptable Use Policy. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts used for malicious, illegal, or unethical purposes.

    4.1 Prohibited Uses

    • No life-critical, legal, medical, financial, or other high-risk applications.
    • No academic dishonesty (cheating, plagiarism, etc.).

    5. Service Availability

    We strive for uninterrupted access but cannot guarantee zero downtime. Planned maintenance or third-party service interruptions (e.g., OpenAI outages) may temporarily affect functionality.

    6. Accuracy of AI Outputs

    AI outputs may contain errors or fail to follow instructions perfectly. You alone are responsible for verifying correctness and suitability before use.

    7. User Responsibilities

    You agree to use Axrisi ethically and lawfully. You must not use it to:

    • Violate any laws or regulations.
    • Generate harmful, defamatory, or inappropriate content.
    • Compromise the security or integrity of our Service or other users.

    8. Termination

    We may suspend or terminate your access at our discretion, for any reason, including breaches of these Terms.

    9. Payments

    9.1 Payment Processing

    Paddle.com Market Limited and its group companies ("Paddle") act as the Merchant of Record for all our payments. This means Paddle will process your payment and appear on your credit card or bank statement. By making a purchase, you agree to Paddle's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

    9.2 Subscription

    Monthly subscription grants a fixed credit allowance for text transformations. Credits are consumed based on input + output length.

    9.3 Top-Up Credits

    You may purchase non-expiring top-up credits; an active subscription is required to spend them.

    9.4 Billing & Renewal

    • Subscriptions renew automatically each month on your activation date.
    • Keep payment details current to avoid service disruption.
    • For any payment-related queries, please contact Paddle support directly.

    9.5 Price Changes & Refunds

    • We may update fees; we'll notify you in advance, and you may cancel if you disagree.
    • First-month subscription refunds are prorated based on unused credits. Renewals are non-refundable.
    • Top-up credit refunds are available within 7 days, provided credits remain unused.
    • For refunds or payment support, please contact Paddle directly at support@paddle.com.

    10. Intellectual Property

    You retain ownership of outputs you create with Axrisi, provided the input was your own original work. You are responsible for ensuring that any transformed content complies with copyright, trademark, and other IP laws.

    11. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

    • "As-Is" Service: We disclaim all warranties—express or implied—regarding merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
    • Service Interruptions: Occasional outages or degraded performance may occur.
    • AI Accuracy: AI results may be inaccurate or incomplete. You assume all risks.
    • Liability Cap: To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from your use of Axrisi.

    12. Changes to Terms

    We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We'll post the updated Terms and a new effective date.
